A Vanity Fair writer is facing backlash after he mocked Blue Ivy Carter’s looks and compared her to her father Jay-Z. Vanity Fair film critic K. Austin Collins mocked Jay-Z and Beyonce's 7-year-old daughter shortly after Meg Thee Stallion shared photos she took with Blue Ivy and Beyonce. He wrote in a now-deleted tweet: "I have a feeling the jay z face genes are about to really hit Blue Ivy and I feel so sorry for her." Violet Lucca, a journalist who works for Harper’s Magazine, replied to Collins, writing: "Or she’ll just get plastic surgery at 16 a la Kylie Jenner and we’ll all have to pretend that she always looked that way. I can’t allow myself to feel too sorry for the incredibly rich!" The Lagos State Government has begun cashless policy for toll payments at Lekki/ Ikoyi Link bridge toll- plaza as earlier announced. The State Government had last year announced that it would go cashless on toll payments at the Lekki/ Ikoyi toll plaza effective from 1st January 2020 due to huge traffic gridlocks often experienced on the corridor with cash payments. Commissioner for Transportation, Frederic 0ladeinde, who personally monitored the cashless toll payments at the toll plaza on Thursday, January 2nd along with the Managing Director, Lekki Concession Company Limited, (LCC) Yomi Omomuwasan stated that the new cashless policy was aimed at reducing traffic queue length often experienced during cash payments regime to save travel time and ease traffic movement along the corridor.
