Singer H2O reacts to Pastor Adeboye praying for staff of a construction company over a road job expected to have been completed in 2019 (video)
Nigerian singer, H2O has reacted to a video of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Adeboye praying for staff of a construction company for a road job they were allegedly paid and expected to complete in 2019.
The singer who commended Pastor Adeboye for praying for the staff of Julius Berger to finish the Lagos Ibadan Expressway which according to him is backed by the Bible, wondered why the construction company took the job if they knew they can't complete the job on time.
He sarcastically added that the construction company should do the job for free and collect the blessing of the man of God.
H2O wrote;
PST E.A Adeboye praying for Julius Berger to finish the Lagos Ibadan Expressway, I really commend this act as the Bible commands us to pray for those in authority. God bless you Daddy G.O.
But on another angle, weren't Julius Berger duly paid for this job? If they can't do it why did they collect it? I think they should just do it for free and collect the blessing of the man of God.

What a shame, because is the road that leads to your church. Boko Haram
and Herdsmen are killing people, with corrupt leaders in government.
This is the only prayer point you can remember? If Men were God!

That is construction companies for you (especially in Nigeria), they collect money and do whatever they like.

My brother you don't understand finishing that road is more money in
the bank for the G O. if its completed their will be free flow of
traffic instead of worshippers getting snarled ul in the hold up they'll
get to the camp to make their own offerings too its not just a prayer
for speedy completion its a prayer for a better bottom line of the
Church's balance sheet.

@Abdullahi Muhammad
Are you telling me that it is only RCCG members that ply that road? If
you don't have better things to say, just shut up.
You guys behave as if you people are better. I went for my sister's
wedding and the way the Alfas were extorting money, you will think my
family kept money with them.
See, keep your opinions to your self. Better still shut up if you don't
have any important thing to say.

Some of you don't what you are getting yourselves into. Using men of
God to chase clout? God is slow to anger. But when he does get angry,
nobody can save you.

Everybody wants to trend.
Many of you dont know what people like Pastor Adeboye knows both
Spiritually and physically.
If you claim to be educated, Pastor Adeboye is a PhD holder in Applied
Mathematics and Aerodynamics. His position just got filled after many
years of leaving Unilag.
If you claim to be wise, this is a man of almost 80 years of age, he has
seen it all with about 53 yesrz of marriage. If you claim to know
anything about Nigeria, he has virtually everyone in the top echelon of
leadership in Nigeria around him.
This is a man that is walking with God and evidence is available eith
unbelievable testimonies.
People should thread softly please.

If you are in construction you know that there are lots of constraints
to a project. Sometimes the people incharge of the contract expect you
to bribe so they delay payment and sometimes change in government and
policies can affect the progress and delivery of the project. Hence the
need for prayers.
naubiko about 1 hour ago
Problems caused by the same people you are constructing the road for?
Exactly the problem we have in Nigeria. So when we pray against our
enemies we should always know we are our own worst enemy

What is wrong in praying for workers?
My name: Chika about 1 hour ago
Prayers everywhere and for everything in Nigeria, do the right thing,
do the 10 commandments, nobody does, only resort to hypocritical prayers
that dont get near the sky let alone to God. They dont pray in China
and most countries, but they are technologically advanced. If Nigeria
would sit and calculate the economical damage that Redeem and the other
churches perpetrate on that Lagos Ibadan Expressway corridor eh? The man
hours lost is staggering. Nigeria will never get anywhere in so far as
they wont do what other nations do to get ahead, only praying. It
(Nigeria) will not only continue to stagnate but retrogress.

Some comments are so cruel, what is wrong in praying for the speedy
construction of the road? A lot of us suffer while plying that road even
when we have nothing to do with the worship Ares around there. Also,
when Baba was teasing about doing it for free, I agree with him, Julius
Berger has taking so much from this country, what have they done as
Social Responsibility? What stops them from doing that job both day and
night? Its a pitiable situation we live in this country.

Guyz chill a lot of projects go above schedule. There are. More factors
at play not just one. As long as they plan to do it within the budget
with no further schedule slippage. Then we should cut them some slack.
But I understand the frustration. Hopefully with the prayers they will
do a good job and on budget.

There are alot of things involved in construction... people need to
understand things before the judge.. julius berger is a great, not good
construction and having been serving Nigeria for over 5 decades... the
delay in work progress could have been caused by alot of problems...
political reasons( settle me ,settle them etc), delay in paying
payment(most construction company with government conyract do stop work
for sometime if theres delay in payment schedule), Engineering factors
and alot more.. whatever the case maybe i can guarantee 90% that berger
is not the cause of delay.. construction road is not a big deal for
them.
Why are people condemning a pastor praying for a man to be productive in
his career whatever it maybe? I think people are constantly looking for
a reason to insult people and share hate.. we need to chill with that
and try be more reasonable and considerate.
